About Me

Some people develop a love for photography over time, me I was hooked the first time I saw one of my great grandparents old photographs.

I knew from very early on that it was a way of not only creating but preserving memories.

I was lucky enough to get my very first 35mm SLR camera for my birthday back in 1985 and being, for want of a better term, ‘a geek’ jumped straight in and was obsessed with it. I had to know everything about it, every button, switch, setting etc (little has changed). Now I use mostly digital equipment but still occasionally like to keep my hand in with film.

I enjoy most types of photography but my favourite has to be portraiture, If you capture the right shot you can bring so much joy to not only the subject but to their family, friends and many more people for many years to come.

I try to keep my photography as a hobby but over the years have covered weddings, engagements, wildlife, special events and even a little bit of journalistic photography.  Photography as I said is not my main source of income but I am willing to capture your memories for you.
